Overview: Cobain loopt weg uit zijn nieuwe pleeggezin omdat hij zich zorgen maakt over zijn moeder Mia, die hoogzwanger is en een zwervend bestaan leidt. Als Cobain eist dat Mia hulp zoekt voor haarzelf en de baby, krijgen de twee knallende ruzie. Cobain vindt onderdak bij Wickmayer, Mia's ex die een paar vrouwen voor zich heeft 'werken'. Als Mia weer contact zoekt met Cobain, stuurt Wickmayer haar weg. Maar Mia blijft aan Cobain trekken en Cobain ziet dat ze er steeds slechter aan toe is. Cobain realiseert zich dat er iets moet gebeuren. Hij brengt Mia naar een verlaten plek waar hij haar opsluit om af te kicken. Hoewel Mia zich eerst verzet, knapt ze langzamerhand op. Maar als Cobain en Mia eindelijk naar elkaar toe groeien, slaat het noodlot toe.
